A few friends were visiting from Mumbai and being the one living in Delhi, I was to pick a lunch place in Hauz Khas. I love my share of South Indian and I was so surprised to find out that I had never been to Coast Cafe(I really dont know why?)
So I looked up the menu on Zomato and suggested we go here and boy am I glad we did! To start with, its got such beautiful interiors and a wonderful serene feel to the whole place so that kind of warms one up before you can even get to the food!!
Since it was a few of us there, we ordered a whole bunch of things, Mutton Sukha Dry, Fries, Chicken Sukha Dry and some small plates to share. I must say there were a few dishes that I really really loved – The Quinoa and Feta salad was so nice and fresh and just what I was looking for. We also go the Rainy Day stew and Kerela Fish curry and I must say it perfect to the T. Also they have these funky fusion tacos that you should try if you are into that indo-mex kind of thing. We were too full for dessert but couldnt resist getting the gluten free chocolate cake and it did not dissapoint. Will definitely visit again, soon!!!
